Created in-house and finalized in 2025, 500 Years of Chicano History is a dynamic educational initiative that brings five centuries of regional history to life for middle school, high school, and college learners. Designed to be inclusive and relevant, the curriculum highlights the contributions, challenges, and cultural experiences of Mexican Americans in Southern Arizona. Piloted in both schools and community centers, it creates space for critical thinking and civic awareness through a localized historical lens. This curriculum also supports community engagement through public presentations that celebrate shared heritage and build connections across generations.
