Alianza de Bienestar

In addressing this emerging problem, Cochise County has the rare opportunity to change the tide before it reaches epidemic levels. To accomplish this, prevention is key. With HRSA planning funds, Alianza de Bienestar will harness the energy of the existing seedling SUD/OUD prevention efforts to create a larger and more wide-reaching prevention movement. Through skilled, facilitated community planning, the consortium will create a culturally competent, datadriven countywide SUD/OUD prevention blueprint that maps opportunities for collective impact on the SUD/OUD issue and increases regional capacity to address underlying causal factors through culturally responsive prevention. Alianza de Bienestar utilizes evidenced based practices and efforts that address the Latino risk factors and acknowledges Latino protective factors. The Razalogia Community Mobilization Framework and Latino Core Values will be employed to engage hard to reach, low-income and marginalized communities.
