Funded by the State Opioid Response (SOR) and Substance Abuse Leaders of Arizona (SACLAZ), coalitions across Arizona are collaborating in an unprecedented effort to save lives. These organizations are developing the “Rise of Fentanyl” toolkit to help communities prevent and reverse overdoses.
The toolkit includes resources on:
- Counterfeit Pills and Fentanyl Information
- Naloxone
- Youth Resiliency
- Stigma Associated with Substance Use Disorders
- Education and Awareness about Fentanyl and Counterfeit Pills
- Increased Education and Awareness about Naloxone and the Good Samaritan Law
The primary aim of this project is to educate and raise awareness among youth, parents, and communities in Arizona about the dangers of fentanyl and strategies to reduce its use.
