Laura Franco was born and raised in Douglas, Arizona, and graduated from The University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in Government and Public Service with a minor in Borderland Law.
She worked for the Cochise County Adult Probation Department as a Deputy Probation Officer and comes to Amistades most recently from a career in higher education as the Southeast Arizona Region Manager for The University of Arizona.
Laura currently works as a Project Specialist for Amistades in Douglas. She brings to the team an intimate understanding of the binational community and is passionate about being an empowering force in the region.
