In collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) under the Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Support Program, the Mayahuel Prevention Consortium II addresses the critical issue of substance use prevention by targeting and diminishing both youth and adult perceptions of harm associated with such behaviors. Guided by frameworks such as the Strategic Prevention Framework and the 7 Strategies for Community Change, the program executes prevention efforts, ensuring sustainability and paving the way for securing future funding opportunities. Through meticulous planning and implementation, the program promotes meaningful change on a national scale, fosters healthier communities, and empowers individuals to make informed decisions regarding substance use.
