In partnership with the Pima County Juvenile Justice Court Evening Reporting Center, Amistades implements a weekly substance abuse prevention workshop for justice involved youth wanting to increase their resiliency skills. Facilitators utilize the Too Good For Drugs Curriculum, a comprehensive substance use prevention curriculum designed to mitigate the risk factors associated with substance use and behavioral problems and build protection within the youth. Too Good programs are proven effective in evaluations that apply rigorous, systematic, and objective procedures to obtain reliable and valid project data.
